Misty Manor, situated in the beautiful rolling hills of Marriottsville, in southeastern Carroll County, Maryland, is owned and operated by Judi Reinke, an experienced horsewoman with a love of animals.
The widest selection of horses for sale in the area, which are safe for riding, can be found here. Looking here first is your wisest choice! New horses for sale, and pictures.
Bordered by thousands of beautiful acres of state parkland, and surrounded by many miles of beautiful trails, Misty Manor provides visitors and boarders with a pleasantly unique atmosphere in which to participate in a variety of equestrian activities.
Year-round activities are plentiful here at Misty Manor. For example:
- Scenic one, two and three hour trail
rides. If you've never ridden before, these rides are a great way
to experience riding for the first time! If you're an experienced
rider, you'll also enjoy these rides and the delightful natural
surroundings!
- Scenic three-hour premium
trail rides, to more distant areas, where you'll ride at
a walk, trot and canter through spectacular natural environments,
including wooded, pastoral and riparian delights.
- Individual and group riding lessons for
people of all ages. Our experienced riding instructors provide lessons in Western and English riding.
- Pony rides
- Summertime day-camp for children desiring to learn about horses.
- Fun for singles of all ages: our Singles
Sundays events.
Boarding, both field and stall, is available.
For the convenience of our boarders and other local equestrians, we have our own tack shop on the premises, selling both Western and English tack, along with other supplies for your horse(s), at great prices.
The friendly, relaxed, atmosphere at Misty Manor is inviting to both beginning and experienced equestrians alike; it's a great place to relax, have fun and meet other equestrians and their horses ...or should that read horses and their equestrians?
Before you leave this web site, please be sure to take a look at the information about our Playday events; these are fun filled days in the fall, and sometimes spring, of each year where we sponsor fun activities for equestrians which raise money for charities such as Ralf Anonymous.
When
you visit Misty Manor, where horses aren't the only non-human critters
in sight, you'll experience more than just a horse farm. Look, here
comes one of the pygmy goats to greet you! ...and look, there's
Junior, the pot-bellied pig, coming to greet you as well!
